" Mr Raspaldo is a surgeon that I highly recommend!
My satisfaction is literally written on my face…

As a teenager, I was really self-conscious about my nose. For years I refused to be photographed,
as I couldn’t bear to see a side view of myself. I finally decided to consult a doctor to find out what
options were available to me. I went to see a surgeon that I had heard people talking about.
My first impressions weren’t very good. The surgeon talked to me about a procedure that would involve
making incisions in the nostrils and another at the base of the nose that would leave a permanent scar.

The only other alternative would be an injection of hyaluronic acid every year to fill in the dent
I had between my nostrils. He could tell that neither of these solutions really worked for me
and advised me to get a second opinion before making up my mind. I asked him for the name
of the best surgeon he had heard of. Without hesitation, he recommended Dr. Raspaldo, who
he had met at a seminar. I followed his advice, made an appointment, and two weeks later
was finally given the solution that suited me.

Dr. Raspaldo explained things clearly and thoroughly, and told me that he could fill in the dent
by going through the nostrils, leaving no external scars at all. This meant that there was no need for
injections and no visible scars. Right from the very first consultation, my fears were immediately eased.
I couldn’t have trusted my face to anyone other than him! He operated on me just over a month later.
I wasn’t at all nervous before the operation, as I knew I was in good hands and came around
quite quickly. Dr. Raspaldo had prescribed some tablets and a cream that I had to start
10 days before the operation to help minimise the bruising.
Surgeons rarely worry about that sort of thing…

When I was discharged, I had to keep a splint on my nose and nasal packs in my nostrils.
I was in no pain at all; I just had some slight discomfort when breathing.
A week later, when the doctor removed the splint, I was over the moon!!!

The result was already fantastic! I could see that the tip of my nose was just perfect and the bump
on the bridge of my nose was gone. The doctor had understood exactly what I was expecting from
this operation. He had managed to correct the defects I was so self-conscious about, but hadn’t
changed my natural look (which was something I wanted to avoid at all costs).
One year down the line, I’m still absolutely delighted and what’s more, you’d never guess
I’ve had my nose done unless I told you.

This experience was so beneficial for me that I decided to go back to Dr. Raspaldo for
a second operation. I hated not being able to tie my hair back because I was embarrassed
about my ears sticking out. On top of that, one ear was bigger than the other.
This had bothered me from an early age, and, although I was less self-conscious
about this than I was about my nose, I decided to go for an otoplasty.
The surgery was done as an out-patient procedure and performed under local anaesthetic,
so I was admitted to the clinic and discharged the same day. The operation was painless.
At night, it was a bit uncomfortable sleeping on my side, but nothing unbearable.
I had to keep the bandages on for two days, then at night only to protect
my ears while sleeping. The result is fantastic. My ears are well pinned back
and I can wear my hair up without feeling embarrassed or self-conscious!

After such a positive experience with Dr. Raspaldo, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I feel I have been very well taken care of throughout the whole procedure, both during the consultations
at the practice and the follow-up telephone calls. Post-operative care was excellent and pursued
right up until I was fully healed.
