Specialising in making you look younger

Erase the Effects of Time.

Botox is a popular non-surgical injection that works by temporarily blocking the transmission of nerve impulses inducing a muscle relaxation that reduces or eliminates frown lines, horizontal forehead creases and other expression wrinkles.

How it works

The toxin is a purified protein which temporarily blocks the nerve impulses relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance.

Treatment

Lifting eyebrows and reducing frown lines is one of the most popular and successful treatments done with botox. Combined with dermal fillers to replace volume around the cheek and chin area botox can make you look years younger without sudden or obvious changes.

How long does it take to do?

The whole procedure can be done in around 10-20 minutes. It is not painful at all and there is no need for local anaesthic or cream.

After Treatment

After wrinkle-relaxing treatment with botox you can generally go right back to your normal activities. We will, however, advise you not to do strenuous exercise, lymphatic drainage, massage or rub the treated area and to be especially gentle with it for 24 hours after your treatment.

How long does it last?

It usually takes between 1-10 days for the injection to take effect. Your results should last about three to five months, although the results may last longer with repeated treatments.

Other uses

Botox is also used to treat mild to excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis) by blocking the nerve endings of sweat glands in the arms, chest, hands and feet. Patches of perspiration are considered unsightly and this procedure is becoming more and more popular.

Studies also suggest that is effective in relieving migraine headaches although this is not as yet scientifically proven.
